Update: had the chicken caprese sandwich. Alex, one of the two owners, suggested it pressed with mayo. It was fantastic. Now I'm seriously concerned that I'll have three favorites, which means my visits here will become both more frequent and more expensive.
Worth. Every. Penny. -

Somehow managed not to discover this place in my neighborhood until recently, but I'm glad I finally did.
I'm an olde tyme New Yorker, and had been missing my olde tyme NYC Italian deli-style food. No longer. The meatball parm and caprese salad were perfetto, and for good measure I had a bagel & lox that tasted exactly like home.
Will be going back regularly. -

Went in and got a chicken parm sandwich. Pretty good, really big, generous with the chicken and came with a small side of pasta. Will definitely be back

This is one of those easy to love places! We thoroughly enjoyed the TRIBECA - a combination that began with a nice starter salad, followed by an ample serving of a perfectly prepared chicken parmigiana dish, a large delicious homemade meatball, spaghetti with plenty of their wonderful homemade sauce, and 2 thick chunks of slightly toasted bread for dipping. We sat at a table where we were able to have a delightful conversation with the owner/chef and his wife as they were preparing our dinner. They were nearing their fifth anniversary of opening CIBO and we have no doubt whatsoever that they'll be flourishing for many more anniversaries yet to come.

BEST Italian food I've had since moving to New Orleans! Ate here for dinner and my fiancée and I got "The Sicilian" sandwich for dinner with a salad. BEST SANDWICH IVE EVER EATEN. Not kidding. The cheese is phenomenal. The spicy Italian deli meat on it with the chicken! Dinner was decently priced and I would imagine lunch would be a GREAT VALUE. Salad dressing was great. Friendly service. They fill the cannolis on the spot. We will be back! Didn't take a pic of the food cause we ate it too fast.
